Program Description

Project Management Professional (PMP) credential is the most important industry recognized certification for project managers sponsored by PMI and is based upon the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Guide. Globally recognized and demanded, the PMP demonstrates that you have the experience, education and competency to successfully lead and direct projects.

These five days program takes participants through the phases of a project using the PMI process groups and integration framework. It is suitable for anyone who requires a working knowledge of the PMI’s approach to Project Management. This highly interactive program will provide individuals with coaching and practice questions in order to prepare themselves for the specific requirements of the PMP Exam or just to gaining the knowledge’s and skills of Project Management processes and terminology.

Program Objective
At the end of the program, the participants will be able to:

  •  Establish how all project activities are interrelated
  •  Know when and how to use recognized tools and techniques on projects
  •  Understand specific PMI definitions, acronyms, and terminology based on PMBOK Guide Fifth Edition
  •  Feel comfortable with the examination format and typical question styles
  •  Prepare a study plan for passing the PMP exam
  •  Satisfy the 35 hours formal Project Management training requirement for future professional certification with the PMI

Target Audience
The course is designed for participants who have a working knowledge of Project Management and who are working in a project environment. It has been developed to address the needs of Project Managers.

This program is 5 days of intensive training class.

Participants are required to have the following:

  •  Basic knowledge of Project Management concepts
  •  A four-year degree (bachelor’s or the global equivalent) and at least three years of project management experience, with 4,500 hours leading and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education or
  •  A secondary diploma (high school or the global equivalent) with at least five years of project management experience, with 7,500 hours leading and directing projects and 35 hours of project management education

At the end of the program, the participants will be assessed with 4 hours of PMP® Exam.

PMP® Certification will be awarded upon successfully passing the exam from PMI.
